DIY Beeswax Wraps Recipe

What you'll need to get:

First, you will need to buy beeswax, Jojoba oil, 100% cotton fabrics and pine resin.  For the beeswax, I encourage you to shop locally. I bought mine from Intermiel. As for the pine resin, I like to go in the forest to collect it myself, but you can also purchase some online.  Know that the pine resin is optional. It adds extra stickiness to you wraps, but it will work without it.

Put the wax-covered fabric in the oven for 1 minute. You have to do each one individually. To work faster, I like to use more than one baking sheet.

Cut the fabric to the size of your choice. Lay the fabric on a baking sheet. You can choose to cover the baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil to avoid extra cleaning.

Once the mixture has melted, apply the wax on the fabric with an old paint brush. Cover the entire surface with a thin layer. If you miss any spot you can always re-do this step later.
