Shea Butter

Shea butter moisturizes and relieves dry and irritaed skin, as well as prevent bumps after shaving. It is filled with vitamins A, E & F.

Coconut oil

Which essential oil should I choose?

Coconut oil is a natural moisturizer that creates an antibacterial layer to protect your skin.
I suggest you choose an antibacterial oil. Always make sure the essential oil you purchase is high quality and 100% pure. Here are some suggestions: tea tree oil, peppermint oil, lavender oil,  grapefruit oil, eucalyptus oil, lemongrass oil, cinnamon oil.

Baking soda

Baking soda will balance your skin pH, and bring it to a neutral level. It also contains antibacterial propreties that help prevent odor.

Baking soda can cause irritation to the skin. If it is the case for you, you can decrease the amount used in the recipe.

Arrowroot powder

Beside having moisterizing properties, arrowroot powder absorbs moisture and is a thickening agent.

Other recipe may use corn starch, but I prefer using arrowroot powder as it does not cause any irritation.
